10 Key elements to increase your productivity:
I have combined my research with my personal experience to develop these conclusions, feel free to share your comments:
Key1: Sleep
The key element to your daily productivity starts with your sleeping habits:
- Sleep between 7.5 and 8.5 hours; make sure you test your biological clock to know the exact number of hours. Sleep Diaries are used in clinical studies
Key2: Nutrition:
Start your day with a rich low carb breakfast:
- Cereals.
- Fruits /Juice.
- A good cup of coffee.
Key 3: Avoid distractions
Avoid phone calls, loud music, TV, multiple programs open in the desktop. Avoid time killers like games when working.
Key 4: Like what you are doing
If you love your work at you will be more concentrated and productive, find something an added value in what you are doing, unique, entertaining, including creativity if you can.
Key 5: Prioritize your tasks – ToDo Lists
Try to make a todo list with priorities and actions:

Key 6: Set a timer or alert
Use the timers and alerts in your daily software like email; phone to remind you about the important tasks and the usual habits. If you have the habit of forgetting something or a task, make sure you make an appropriate timer configured in your phone or your mail box as an alert.

Find a tool or software that will help you avoid doing the same task again and again.
Key 8: Speed up
Identify time consuming software, hardware.
Upgrade software/hardware. Buy new computer if your work requires high performance.
Key 9: Practice
Practice makes perfect! Practice, Practice, Practice. If you are an athlete, the more you practice the better your timing will be. The same thing for your job.
Key 10: Outsource when needed
You can't do everything by yourself; hire more people if needed to gain time and productivity.
